Special features of the mobile grain hopper

Versatile and mobile, the FAO grain hopper is the ideal solution for farms requiring flexible grain storage and reception. The mobile hopper represents an effective alternative for sites where a permanent grain pit is not an option, particularly on farms with limited space.

Design and modularity

The cardan hopper consists of a receiving trough, a cardan mechanism, and a tilting tube. Its tilting auger system, with four auger lengths available, can feed a variety of equipment such as a bucket elevator.
It can also be used in a fixed position, in conjunction with a bucket elevator, or extended by a horizontal screw to adapt to an existing installation. Mounted on four wheels, it can be easily turned and moved from one site to another.

Compatibility and safety

The mobile hopper is compatible with the vacuum grain pre-cleaner for pre-cleaning grain at the entrance to an elevator. The agricultural hopper is fitted with a protective grid for safe operation. An optional variable speed drive is also available to adjust the screw to the bucket elevator flow rate.
