Handling

Belt conveyor

The belt conveyor is used for horizontal transport of straw cereals, protein crops, seeds, and pellets. We design and manufacture belt conveyors of various speeds and lengths to suit your process and storage site. Our belt conveyors offer an efficient, reliable, and cost-effective solution for grain handling, minimising losses, preserving product quality, and optimising transport processes.

Belt conveyor – Continuous grain transport

Belt conveyors are used to transport bulk products such as cereals, powdered and granular products. Whether installed horizontally or with a slight incline, the belt conveyor ensures linear movement over long distances, with a smooth flow and slow speed. In addition, belt speeds can be adjusted as required, allowing grain flow to be regulated.

Grain preservation and quality

This fully automated conveyor system handles large quantities of grain in agricultural and industrial facilities, and during truck loading and unloading operations.

The belt conveyor is particularly suitable for fragile products, guaranteeing residue-free, breakage-free grain handling. They are designed to minimize damage and loss of grain quality during transport.

In addition, the design of our belt conveyors allows them to be adapted to the specific requirements of grain handling. They can be fitted with loading and unloading hoppers, adjustable bottlenecks and other accessories to facilitate smooth product flow and optimize operations.

With our belt conveyors for cereals and grain, your storage will be filled or emptied completely, without mixing different batches or varieties. Conveyor belts for cereals for human consumption are made from hygienic materials that comply with food safety standards. They are easy to clean and maintain, helping to maintain grain integrity and quality during transport.

Belt conveyor mechanisms and functions

The machine operates on a rubber conveyor belt stretched between two pulleys, one of which is driven by a motor. The product is deposited on the belt at the end of the conveyor, then the belt moves it by rotating the support rollers along the path.

A mobile carriage can translate on the belt to unload grain at specific points, facilitating loading in flat storage buildings.

Motor power is transferred to the drive pulley via a drive system. Cleaning devices can be installed to remove impurities.
