FAO offers several models of hammer mills to meet the specific needs and applications of breeders and feed producers. Our mills are designed to produce flour from a variety of dry cereals such as wheat, barley, maize, and oats, as well as cakes and dehydrated products.

Our grain mills are specially designed for grinding cereals for livestock feed, and operate by suction or gravity flow. FAO shredders are made from high-quality steel, ensuring robustness and durability. Each hammer is made from specially treated steel, carefully weighed to guarantee consistent, vibration-free performance.

TITAN vacuum hammer mill

The TITAN hammer mill operates by grain suction and vertical flour discharge. Compact and robust, the shredder can be integrated into most existing food plants and factories.
The expulsion fan allows the raw materials to be transported and has the advantage of cooling the ground flour.

The housings, made from thick, anti-deformation welded sheet metal, are highly resistant to abrasion. The shredder housing is equipped with a grid covering the entire chamber, guaranteeing uniform shredding. This design facilitates servicing and maintenance, and offers enhanced safety by avoiding product splashes.

BR500 gravity hammer mill

The BR 500 gravity shredder is designed to suit all farm sizes. It guarantees high output thanks to an exceptional throughput/power ratio, enabling large quantities of grain to be processed in a very short time.
The BR 500 cereal shredder offers optimum performance for cereals with a moisture content of around 15%, while remaining efficient for those with a higher moisture content, such as wheat or barley.

Its dual-direction operation ensures even wear distribution on both sides of the hammers. Hammer direction changes are halved, making maintenance operations considerably easier.

The innovative design of the grain chopper, combined with the optimisation of its rotor, gives the BR 500 exceptional energy efficiency. To meet different needs, the BR 500 is available in two models, one with an interchangeable grid, the other with a single grid specifically for two types of grind.

The hammer mill with interchangeable grate allows you to produce the desired grind by simply changing the grate as required. Each grille is designed to resist wear and tear, guaranteeing long life and consistent performance.

Grain mill with special grate: one grate, two grind types

The BR 500 shredder, with its special single grate, produces two distinct types of grind. Depending on the direction of rotation of the grinder, it is possible to obtain a fine or coarser grind, without having to change the grate.
This shredder has been designed to meet the needs of different applications, such as piglet or sow feeding. Instead of changing the grate to obtain a different grind, simply change the direction of rotation, via a manual or automatic control.

Special wet corn hammer mill

Our expertise in on-farm feed mill ing enables us to offer our customers a shredder suitable for shredding wet corn. Specially designed for shredding high-moisture corn, this shredder is also suitable for dry crops.
Its unique design, combined with a 360° grid, optimises performance. The parts are made from top-quality materials, guaranteeing both durability and excellent sturdiness.
